Molin Concrete Office Building Receives Gold LEED Certification
The 8,000-square-foot Molin Concrete office building in Lino Lakes, Minn., built by Kraus-Anderson Construction Co., Minneapolis, has received Gold LEED certification. The building, designed by Professional Design Group of Northfield, Minn., features a precast concrete exterior and sand-blasted color finish, precast sunshades and spandrels. Other sustainable features include a white, plastic roof that includes the building’s heat island. The roof is comprised of 16-inch, hollow-core planking, allowing a clear span of 55 feet within the structure.
Hino Donates Trucks to Colleges
Hino Trucks has donated MY ’05 and ’06 training vehicles to Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Ill., and Kirkwood Community College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The trucks will provide apprentices and students with hands-on experience working with engine mechanics and functionality, as well as enabling them to learn the latest onboard diagnostic technology.

Vermeer Presents Sales and Service Awards
Vermeer Sales & Service of Minnesota and North Dakota was recognized as a Platinum Dealer for the sixth straight year by Vermeer Corp. at its year-end meeting. The company also received the Top Dealer award for utility equipment and parts and service and was recognized for 20 years as a Vermeer dealer.
